The Department of Cultural Heritage of Vietnam and CRIHAP will co-organize an online Capacity-building Workshop on Community-based Inventorying of Intangible Cultural Heritage from Nov 22-26, 2021.

17 Vietnamese ICH-safeguarding workers, including cultural officials, ICH transmitters and ICH experts from central and northern parts of the country, will participate in the training.

During the five-day training, UNESCO-accredited ICH facilitators Paritta Chalermpow Koanantakool and Suzanne Ogge, along with Nguyen Thi Thu Trang, a local expert in ICH safeguarding, will give lectures on the Inventorying of Intangible Cultural Heritage under the framework of the Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage.
