On behalf of the people in local communities, Pham Thi Nieu, leader of the Folk Culture Club in Vietnam and an ICH People's Artisan, gives a speech on community-based ICH safeguarding.

During the workshop, the trainees conducted fieldwork in some ICH safeguarding elements such as traditional weaving skills and traditional music. They first interviewed local community members, then recorded the current situation of these ICH elements before putting together the information they gathered for further analysis. Toward the end of the workshop, some trainees made presentations which were followed by detailed group discussions.
