International Research Centre for Intangible Cultural Heritage in the Asia-Pacific Region under the Auspices of UNESCO (IRCI) organised “Research on the Safeguarding of ICH in the Asia-Pacific Region” Establishing New Sustainable Mechanism for Systematic Research Data Collection FY2019 the Second Working Group Meeting on 4 and 5 February, 2020 at the Tokyo National Museum.

Six experts from universities and other institutions as counterparts were invited to the meeting. Participants actively shared professional opinions, particularly by identifying challenges recognised during the implementation of research data collection and exploring possible ways for improvement.
