Celebrating ICHCAP's Anniversary and New Publications


The ninth Governing Board meeting of the ICHCAP

The ninth Governing Board meeting of the International Information and Networking Centre for Intangible Cultural Heritage in the Asia-Pacific Region under the auspices of UNESCO (ICHCAP) was held in Seoul on December 15, 2016.

As the top governing body of ICHCAP, the Governing Board examined ICHCAP's work plan for FY 2016, the five-year development plan for 2017-2021, and the work plan for FY 2017.

After the meeting, ICHCAP marked the 5th anniversary of its establishment, with a press conference on the ICH Elements Books of Central Asia.

Representative of the International Training Centre for Intangible Cultural Heritage in the Asia-Pacific Region under the Auspices of UNESCO (CRIHAP) was invited to attend the meeting and press conference.

During the meeting, the representative of CRIHAP and ICHCAP's leaders discussed the works of Category 2 Centres, and confirmed its intention to open capacity-building training workshops in Korea in 2017.
