In the presence of the Chairperson of the Intergovernmental Committee, Mr Yonas Desta Tsegaye, an information and exchange session will take place at UNESCO premises, Room XI, on Thursday, 20 October 2016 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

The purpose is to present the provisional agenda and timetable, working methods as well as practical information for the eleventh session of Intergovernmental Committee for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage to be held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, from 28 November to 2 December 2016.

This meeting is open to all interested States. Interpretation will be provided in English and French. The Provisional Agenda is published on the webpage dedicated to the eleventh session of the Committee.
