CRIHAP director Xu Rong makes a keynote speech.

Magele Mauiliu Magele, minister of the Ministry of Education, Sports and Culture of Samoa, attended the conference and made the opening speech. All together 60 participants were involved in the conference, including Gwang-Jokim, director of the UNESCO Office in Bangkok and Akatsuki Takahashi of the UNESCO Office in Apia, as well as the cultural consultant of the Secretariat of the Pacific Community, the director of the Pacific Heritage Center and the minister of the Peruvian Ministry of Internal Affairs. The director of IRCI representatives of the Pacific Islands Museums Association, the Samoan Ministry of Education, Sports and Culture staff, community representatives, and artists attended the Conference. Xu Rong, Director General of CRIHAP, was invited to attend the conference and made a keynote speech.
