The third session of the Management Committee, International Training Centre for Intangible Cultural Heritage in the Asia-Pacific region under the auspices of UNESCO, was held in Beijing on May 28. The conference decided that in 2014 the organization will continue to promote the operations of the international training center, and it has tentatively scheduled six international training activities for China, Cambodia, North Korea and other countries.

The center’s 2014 annual work plan decided to continue the international training activities, basic research and other research work, to participate in international exchanges and cooperation and to cultivate a group of intangible cultural heritage protection experts across the Asia-Pacific region. Meanwhile, in response to UNESCO’s promotion of the proposed localization of "capacity-building strategy", the center will also teach courses on capacity building strategy to cultivate the localized faculty team under this framework to make up for insufficient manpower.
