Workshop on ICH Capacity-Building for Youth wraps up
Filled with intensive online courses and lively field trips, the workshop kicked off on Aug 20, lasted for two months, and finally drew a close on Oct 15. Unlike previous workshops featuring only mass classes, this workshop mixed online, theoretical learning with offline, practical guidance--juxtaposing weekly online courses and instructions with field trips the trainees conducted in five groups. Facilitator Alexandra Denes taught ICH-related theories, covering topics such as the ICH-related key concepts, the importance of communal participation, and the connection between ICH safeguarding and sustainable development.
International and local experts were responsible for the offline, practical guidance. Their step-by-step, practical guidance and instructions went abreast with various field trips the trainees conducted. At the beginning of each week, they would assign homework about the field trips to be conducted in the coming days to make sure that the trainees fully digested and grasped all the content they taught and that the training process could move forward smoothly and lead to desirable results.
