181st State Party: San Marino joins the 2003 Convention!

By depositing with the Director-General its instrument of ratification on 17 November 2022, San Marino became, three months later, the 181st State to join the 2003 Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage on 17 February 2023.

On 28 February 2023, Zimbabwe and Namibia launched the project ‘Safeguarding Intangible Cultural Heritage in Basic Education in Namibia and Zimbabwe’ to promote an innovative and transformative methodology of learning with living heritage through a whole-school community-based approach – involving learners, teachers, staff and the wider community.
