The "Global Training of Trainers on Periodic Reporting under the 2003 Convention" is set to take place online from September 17 to 18, 2026, co-organized by CRIHAP and the UNESCO Living Heritage Entity. This training will be led by UNESCO-accredited senior facilitators Maissoun Sharkawi and Linina Phuttitarn.

Members of the Global Facilitators Network for intangible cultural heritage and representatives from various Category 2 Centres will gather online to participate in this event. The training aims to support the transition to the single global submission system under the Convention framework, comprehensively updating the knowledge and skills of global facilitators and relevant personnel from Category 2 Centres. It will systematically introduce new capacity-building methodologies and training modules to robustly support designated focal points in coordinating periodic reporting efforts at the national level.
