The first batch of working documents for the twentieth session of the Intergovernmental Committee for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage (20.COM) is now available on the following webpage: https://ich.unesco.org/en/20com.

In addition to the General Information document, as well as the provisional agenda and timetable of the session already published in October 2025, documents for all agenda items except for items 6.c, 8, 13, 14 and 16 can now be accessed online. This batch notably includes the Report of the Evaluation Body on its work in 2025 (Item 7 and its sub-items). Participants and stakeholders are invited to consult these documents in preparation for the upcoming Committee session.

Remaining documents are foreseen to be published by 24 November 2025.

About the session

The 20.COM will be chaired by H.E. Mr Vishal V. Sharma, Ambassador and Permanent Delegate of India to UNESCO, and the session will take place from Monday 8 to Saturday 13 December 2025 at the Red Fort in New Delhi, India.
