Workshop on the Safeguarding and Revitalization of Intangible Cultural Heritage in the Face of Disasters
The CRIHAP and UNESCO Jakarta Office will jointly host the Workshop on Safeguarding and Revitalizing Intangible Cultural Heritage in the Face of Disasters from April 27-29, 2026, in Yogyakarta, Indonesia.
The workshop will provide training to participants from Indonesian government departments, social organizations, community groups, and academic institutions.
It aims to strengthen capacity for safeguarding ICH in disaster contexts within Indonesia and the broader region, and to promote the integration of disaster risk reduction strategies with ICH preservation efforts.
