“Support to the organization of preparatory and follow-up sessions for the periodic reporting exercise in the Asia and Pacific Region” has successfully completed
The final session of the "Support to the organization of preparatory and follow-up sessions for the periodic reporting exercise in the Asia and Pacific Region", organized by CRIHAP and UNESCO HQ, was successfully completed online on October 8, 2024.
Jing Zhang, Director-General of CRIHAP, Fumiko Ohinata, Secretary of the 2003 Convention of UNESCO, and Susanne Schnuttgen, Chief of Capacity Building and Heritage Policy Unit, attended and delivered remarks.
Taking the leading facilitation role, UNESCO Facilitators Janet Blake and Gamini Wijesuriya engaged over 50 participants from state parties within the Asia-Pacific region in interactions and discussions, listened to and analyzed major difficulties and challenges during the preparation of the reports, and provided comments and suggestions.
