The workshop put an emphasis on the method of combining theory and practice, with participants conducting field works in small groups to local communities under the guidance of facilitators. They explored seven intangible cultural heritage elements, including horse-head fiddle making, traditional boot making, wood carving, traditional costume making, traditional healing methods, traditional belt making, and traditional dance. They used these examples as a basis for practicing the development of intangible cultural heritage safeguarding plans.
