CRIHAP’s Governing Board holds the 4th Session in Beijing

The Governing Board of the International Training Centre for Intangible Cultural Heritage in the Asia-Pacific Region under the auspices of UNESCO (CRIHAP) held its fourth session in Beijing on March 31, 2015. It was chaired by Wang Wenzhang, President of the Chinese National Academy of Arts, Director-General of China National Centre for Safeguarding Intangible Cultural Heritage, and the Chairperson of the Governing Board of CRIHAP.
More than 30 participants attended the session, including members of the Governing Board and Advisory Committee of CRIHAP, and representatives from China's Ministry of Culture; the Chinese National Commission for UNESCO; UNESCO Office in Beijing; the International Information and Networking Centre for Intangible Cultural Heritage in the Asia-Pacific under the auspices of UNESCO (ICHCAP); and the International Research Centre for Intangible Cultural Heritage in the Asia-Pacific under the auspices of UNESCO (IRCI).
The meeting approved the replacement of one member of the Governing Board and the admission of an observer. It also examined and adopted the Summary Records of the Third Session of the Governing Board, and the Work Report and Financial Statement for FY2014; examined and approved the Work Plan and Budget for FY2015; and decides to hold the Fifth Session of the Governing Board in March, 2016, in Beijing, China.
