Jointly held by CRIHAP and UNESCO Regional Office in Bangkok, the workshop titled “Achieving Sustainable Tourism with Intangible Cultural Heritage and Creative City Network in Waterway Cities of ASEAN” will commence online on November 24, 2023. The training primarily targets Southeast Asian countries, including Thailand, Cambodia and Laos. Its objective is to teach participants how to seamlessly integrate these elements into sustainable tourism, thereby supporting the environmental, social, and economic sustainability of local communities.

This extended training program is scheduled to conclude in June of the following year, adopting a combination of online and offline formats. Next February, an offline training session is scheduled to be held in the city of Nan in Northern Thailand, and each month, at least one concentrated online learning and guidance session.
