The training event is the third Capacity Building Workshop on Intangible Cultural Heritage for Youth of the Three-Year Training Programme. By extending the strengths of previous trainings, this workshop continues to provide capacity-building training of high-quality for young people, thus developing new forces for intangible cultural heritage safeguarding in the Asia-Pacific region.

To date, CRIHAP has organized a total of 68 intangible cultural heritage capacity-building workshops covering 41 countries and regions, with 2,707 direct beneficiaries throughout the Asia-Pacific region and beyond.
