CRIHAP and the UNESCO Dhaka Office will co-organize an online Capacity-building Workshop on Intangible Cultural Heritage and Sustainable Development for Bangladesh from Nov 23-25, 2021.

25 trainees from Bangladesh’s cultural departments and research institutions as well as colleges and universities will participate in the training.

This year is the fourth consecutive year that CRIHAP has organized capacity-building workshops for Bangladesh to deepen participants’ understanding of the Convention and keep them updated on the latest development in ICH safeguarding from a global perspective. Doing so in turn strengthens the overall ability of ICH safeguarding at national level.
