On 9 and 10 September 2021, States Parties to the 2003 Convention and observers are invited to participate in the second part of the Open-ended intergovernmental working group in the framework of the global reflection on the listing mechanisms of the 2003 Convention.

Given the ongoing restrictions related to the COVID-19 pandemic, Part II of the working group is taking place fully online. The debates can be followed live in the original language with interpretation in English and in French. Recordings will be made available during the following week. The recordings and Recommendations from Part I can be found on the Convention’s website.

Participants wishing to take the floor (‘Active participation’) have to be connected to Zoom platform, with limitations due to technical constraints (two simultaneous connections per State Party; one per State not Party; one per member of the NGO Steering Committee; one per Category 2 Center; other active connections to accredited NGOs subject to availability). Please register online, requesting an active participation, so that the Secretariat can ensure you receive a Zoom invitation. In case of urgency, please contact ICHmeetings@unesco.org.

The working documents and Agenda are now available online.
