Since 2018, with young people as key targets for training, CRIHAP has achieved good results in holding workshops for them in Central Asia and Southeast Asia. Accordingly, CRIHAP continued to expand and extend capacity-building training on ICH safeguarding for youth in the region, and designed the "Capacity Building Workshop on ICH for Youth: the Three-Year Training Programme", which played a positive role in cultivating new forces for inheriting, disseminating and carrying forward ICH in the Asia Pacific region and promoting the sustainable development of ICH. The successful opening of the first workshop held in China laid a foundation for the follow-up training of the three-year training programme.

Up to now, CRIHAP has organized a total of 53 intangible cultural heritage capacity-building workshops, covering 40 countries and regions, with 1,827 direct beneficiaries.
