To promote fruitful cooperation in intangible cultural heritage between China and the Pacific region, leaders in the training center made a detailed introduction on the measures and achievements China has made in the past decades. A report on the preservation of Chinese traditional architecture was well-received among participants and evoked a strong response.
As a strategic activity on intangible cultural heritage first held in the southern Pacific region under the auspices of UNESCO, this workshop not only laid a solid foundation for advancing cultural heritage work at large but played a significant role in promoting Chinese culture to the outside world.
