Thai-Lao Teacher Training Workshop “Bringing Living Heritage to the Classroom” concludes in Laos
UNESCO accredited facilitator Linina Phuttitarn was invited to give lectures and guidance throughout the training. During this three-month workshop which included a pre-learning period, the participants from Laos and Thailand learned and understood the relevant concepts of living heritage, sustainable development, quality education and global citizenship education. Training and practice on multidisciplinary teaching methods and creative thinking were also conducted for them.
Under the guidance of the facilitator, the trainees learned how to design lesson plans that integrate intangible cultural heritage elements and global citizenship principles into their teaching, and implemented them later at school. At the closing ceremony on August 5 and 6, they shared their learning insights and relevant experience.
