Capacity-building Workshop on Community-based Inventorying of ICH for Vietnam held online

The Department of Cultural Heritage of Vietnam and CRIHAP co-organized an online Capacity-building Workshop on Community-based Inventorying of Intangible Cultural Heritage from Nov 22-26, 2021.

A total of 17 Vietnamese ICH-safeguarding workers, including cultural officials, ICH transmitters and ICH experts from central and northern parts of the country, participated in the training, which was supported by the UNESCO Hanoi Office.

Nong Quoc Thanh, Vice Director of the Department of Cultural Heritage of Vietnam, Nguyen Thi Bich Thuy, representative of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Binh province, Le Hoang Lien, representative of UNESCO Hanoi Office, and CRIHAP’s Director-General Liang Bin attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches.

 

UNESCO-accredited ICH facilitators Paritta Chalermpow Koanantakool and Suzanne Ogge share in detail their knowledge about the Inventorying of Intangible Cultural Heritage under the framework of the Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage.
