CRIHAP opens training program on digital preservation in Cambodia

The training program titled “Workshop on Implementation of the 2003 Convention for the Safeguarding of the ICH: Toward Digital Preservation” was held by CRIHAP in Siem Reap, Cambodia, from March 16 to March 20. 60 trainees, including Cultural officials from Cambodian Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts and 24 Cambodian Provinces, and NGO representatives from Cambodia took part in the workshop.
Phoeurng Sackona, Minister of the Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts of Cambodia, and XuRong, Director-General of the International Training Centre for Intangible Cultural Heritage in the Asia-Pacific under the auspices of UNESCO (CRIHAP) attended the opening ceremony. Philippe Delanghe, head of culture section of UNESCO office in Phnom Penh, and representative of CRIHAP presented certificates to the trainees at the closing ceremony.
