The Ninth Annual Coordination Meeting of Category 2 Centres Active in the Field of Intangible Cultural Heritage was held on 29 November 2021 online.

It was organized by the Living Heritage Entity of UNESCO, and supported by ICHCAP. The meeting aimed to (i) update the latest developments regarding the implementation of the Convention, notably the rolling out of the first two cycles of periodic reporting and (ii) have an exchange on working methods in the context of the pandemic and ways on strengthening cooperation.

During the meeting, UNESCO shared the programme priorities under the 2003 Convention and progress on reorienting the capacity-building programme to a hybrid multi-model approach; and upcoming renewal evaluations of category 2 centres in the field of ICH.
